Privacy & Security

Last updated: April 24, 2026

Duskry is designed for personal time tracking with a privacy-first approach. This page explains what information is handled by the app, what stays on your device, and when third-party services may be involved.

Information Duskry Tracks

Duskry records activity information needed to help you understand how time is spent, such as app usage, window titles, project assignments, timeline entries, settings, and license status.

Activity and project data are intended to be stored locally on your device unless a feature you choose later clearly says that it syncs, exports, shares, or uploads that data.

Website Analytics

The Duskry website uses Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate page traffic and performance. This helps improve the website without building personal advertising profiles.

Analytics data may include basic technical information such as page views, browser details, device type, referral information, and approximate location derived from network information.

Payments and Licensing

Purchases, subscriptions, invoices, and payment methods are handled by third-party payment and licensing providers such as Lemon Squeezy. Duskry does not store full payment card details.

When you activate a license, the app may contact the licensing provider to validate the license key and cache license status locally so the app can unlock the correct plan.

Security Practices

Duskry uses platform permissions to access the activity signals required for time tracking. You can review and manage those permissions through macOS and the app settings.

Local data remains protected by the security of your device, operating system account, and backups. You should keep your Mac updated and use a strong device password.

Data Sharing

Duskry does not sell your personal information. Data may be shared with service providers only when needed to operate the website, process payments, validate licenses, provide support, comply with law, or protect the service.

If you contact support, the information you choose to send may be used to troubleshoot your request and reply to you.

Your Choices

You can stop using Duskry, revoke operating system permissions, delete local app data, or contact support with privacy questions.

For billing records, subscription changes, and payment data requests, you may also need to use the billing portal provided by the payment processor.
